Unlike his practice hat-trick in Melbourne, Lewis Hamilton hasn't been at the top of the timesheets in either Friday practice session this weekend. Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has warned against underestimating his performance ahead of qualifying on Saturday.
Ferrari managed to maintain their one-two in FP2 to dominate proceedings on Friday. Sebastian Vettel ended the day 0.603 ahead of his rival Hamilton, with Charles Leclerc sandwiched in the middle.
This result has raised some eyebrows in the paddock, but Wolff warns against underestimating his power.
"I think it's dangerous to underestimate Lewis Hamilton. He's always there, and Valtteri Bottas has started off where he left off in Melbourne," Wolff told Sky Sports. "It looks like Ferrari has a tiny edge on us, but we'll squeeze everything we can like a lemon!"
