A few days after the
Italian Grand Prix at Monza, footage emerged of
Yuki Tsunoda cruising through Venice on a boat. The strange thing was that the AT03 [last year's AlphaTauri
F1 car] was also on that boat. That produced the following (bizarre images).
These scenes are all taking place because of the Italian racing stable's 'Whatever it Takes' documentary. This documentary about the
Formula 1 team took place in Venice. The team's base is in Faenza, which is only a two-hour drive away. Tsunoda himself has already seen the documentary and has the following to say about it.
Tsunoda on documentary AlphaTauri
"I saw lots of things I didn’t know – how the team operates in the background and the amount of people, time and effort that’s put into only two cars. I feel really honoured to be one of the two drivers of Scuderia AlphaTauri and to be able to drive such a high-technology machine," says the Japanese racing driver.
The documentary includes footage of Tsunoda, team boss
Franz Tost and
Pierre Gasly. The film lasts 90 minutes and will be available on Sky Italy soon. Watch below as Tsunoda sails the AT03 through the canals of ever-popular Venice:
