Max Verstappen has seen several teammates come and go at Red Bull Racing. Since the Japanese Grand Prix, he has had Yuki Tsunoda beside him, who – unlike Liam Lawson – can be fairly certain that he will be allowed to finish the season with the Austrian Formula 1 team. The new duo are evidently having a great time, as shown by the photos Tsunoda shared on Instagram.

Verstappen and Tsunoda play padel together

Padel is currently hot among the F1 drivers, and they are often found on the padel court together whenever they are away from the track.

That also applied to Verstappen and Tsunoda around the Grand Prix weekend in Bahrain. Tsunoda posted a photo in which he and his Red Bull teammate were on the padel court.

In the same post, Tsunoda also shared a funny photo of Verstappen, with the four-time world champion seen wearing sunglasses and his cap backwards while making the 'peace' sign with both hands. Tsunoda's followers found the image extremely amusing in the comments below, who mainly respond to the 'meme-worthy' photo of Verstappen.

Verstappen and Tsunoda were mentioned by Peter Windsor in a special comparison. According to the F1 analyst, the Dutchman, as soon as he encounters braking problems, just as he did at the Bahrain Grand Prix, he 'is just like other drivers'.

"Then he is completely lost. Then he is just a normal driver. He is almost a Yuki Tsunoda. He has nothing else to fall back on", was Windsor's daring judgement.
