After Sebastian Vettel's awkward low-speed crash during the Milan demonstration the teams had, the German explained that while it was his fault, he was also driving in Kimi Raikkonen's car with his steering wheel.
During the Wednesday demo in Milan, Vettel broke the front wing of his Ferrari by hitting a plastic barrier at low speed, as he ran wide in a tight corner.
The car might have been liveried with his numbers, but Vettel revealed that it was actually Raikkonen's #7 car underneath, which has a few things differently set up.
"I apologised," Vettel told Autosport.
"I went with the car and steering wheel of Kimi, who had the clutch on the other side.
"I didn't think about it, and at that point I was too fast.
"I asked if it would be possible to change the wing to do two more laps for the fans.
"Obviously it was my mistake, but that's OK."
A very awkward moment for the German, who will still be the favourite to win the Italian Grand Prix this weekend for Ferrari, despite the team not having won there since 2010. Monza is a very fast track which favours the more powerful cars, and with Ferrari having exactly that, it will be their Grand Prix to lose this Sunday. Vettel will have to show better composure than he did in Milan, though, but we're sure that he will be fine!
