Sebastian Vettel certainly didn't have the best winter test in Bahrain for Aston Martin. The German had probably hoped for a better winter, and with 314 laps for the team, Aston Martin only drove more laps than Mercedes.
Sebastian Vettel will be racing for a new team this year. The German is the new face of Aston Martin in Formula 1, but the start of this campaign was anything but smooth. After the last session Sebastian Vettel didn't express his dissatisfaction, but his body language often tells more than he is saying.
''It's all still very relative. There are some new things, but in honesty it's very difficult to say anything about this in these circumstances. It's all very close in any case,'' Vettel said in front of the camera of F1TV. The German is usually very cheerful when things are going well, but can also give very unclear answers when things are not going well. We saw this last year at Ferrari, but now again at Aston Martin.
Vettel continues though, also looking at the competition. ''Red Bull is looking very strong, and of course it would be a huge surprise for everyone if Mercedes is not just on top again. The midfield is very close together. Our car feels good now, but as I said it's all relative'', concludes the Aston Martin driver.
