Red Bull Racing have presented their so-called 'White Bull' livery for the Japanese Grand Prix, honouring their partnership with Honda, that is set to end after the current season.

The special livery is based on Honda's first ever victory in the competition, which happened at the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix.

Not only Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda will wear a special race suit during the sessions, but also the entire team will have white team kits as well.

It is not the first time Red Bull have used a similar livery to honour Honda. It made its first appearance at the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix, after that year's weekend in Japan was cancelled due to Covid-19. The fan favourite is now set to make its return and will be used in Suzuka for the first time at a Grand Prix weekend.

Red Bull and Honda celebrations in Tokyo

Honouring their seventh and final season together, Red Bull and Honda have many special activities this week. On Tuesday, the 'REBL Car Culture Meet' will kick things off, where the team, Honda and streetwear brand Neighborhood announce a special collaboration. A Honda NSX from the 90s in matching livery was presented alongside a showcar of the RB21.

The celebration continues on Wednesday with a special showrun in the capital, Tokyo. There, all the current Red Bull Racing and Racing Bulls drivers, Max Verstappen, Yuki Tsunoda, Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar will driver historic Red Bull cars and the original Honda RA272 from 1965.
