The Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort could be another wet weekend for Formula 1 in 2023. As the event has got closer, the chance of rain during the Dutch GP weekend has increased. It won't be the hottest weekend either, and this could create a new challenge for the teams and drivers.

Rain has hit the last seven Grands Prix weekends, playing a major part on Saturday in Montreal, Spielberg and Silverstone. It also rained during the Grand Prix in Monaco and at various points in Barcelona. Rain fell on the Friday of the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend, but it stayed away from the meaningful sessions. And the Belgian Grand Prix lived up to its recent reputation with a mix of wet/dry conditions.
According to weather.com, all three days are very similar, with showers or light rain predicted. On Friday, teams and drivers will make their first on-track appearance following the sport's traditional summer break period. It seems very likely to rain during the very early hours of Friday, but conditions are set to dry up in the afternoon. When practice starts at 12:30 local time, there is a 24% chance of rain. Temperatures will be around 19c, and it will be partly cloudy. The conditions are set to remain the same for FP2, though at 17:00 local time, when FP2 ends, showers are forecast with a 56% chance of rain. There is a strong chance of rain on Saturday morning, meaning any rubber that does get laid will be washed away.
On Saturday, the temperature drops to 18c, and the risk of showers remains. There is an 80% chance of rain during the day. On Sunday, the temperature is predicted to be exactly the same.
