Pirelli tyre test day two - Leclerc fastest!
On day two of the
Pirelli tyre test in Barcelona. Ferrari driver
Charles Leclerc went fastest. Leclerc was joined by teammate
Lewis Hamilton and McLaren driver
Oscar Piastri. The lap times however cannot be compared, as each driver was running a different program. The testing does, however, give the drivers time to get back into the swing of driving, even if it is an older car. For example, Hamilton was a Mercedes driver during the 2024 F1 season so this has been another opportunity for him to drive the SF-24 and get a better feel of how the Ferrari
F1 car works.
