Good luck to you Lewis I know your new venture will work out for you. I also believe you can prove these doubters wrong. I think Lewis has spent the last two years trying to drag Mercedes screaming and shouting back to the front of the grid and clearly they are not listening, I thought Toto trusted him implicitly and they were as one? Let's face it if a car is useless it doesn't matter if you are a 7 time world champion you are not going to win anything with it unless you have a massive stroke of good luck. At least he can see that is where the car is now and he's moving on to try and finish his career on a high and why not? There's always going to be a bunch of hasbeens that want to stick the knife in someone's back. Perhaps they should see out what time they have left and enjoy the money that the sport has gifted to them. I know Lewis will do a great job for Ferrari and I wish him the very best. Come on all you Lewis downers it seems he can't do right for doing wrong. Always the criticism, I'm white guy and I think he's doing the right thing. I doubt if he is bringing race into it he is just highlighting that there is fewer people of colour in F1. I can't say that is specifically down to racism but simply because more white people apply for the roles available. I'd like to think I am not being naive but a great believer in humanity. So if Lewis can bring to the attention of people of colour that they too can apply for those roles to have the bravery to do so. Go Lewis.04-12-2023 19:44

Who would want to drive for RBR or more to the point Marko? How can it be that De Vries drove an exceptional race for Williams highlighting his talent and giving him his opportunity, then sits in the Alpha Taurie and he's suddenly crap. How can that be? Blarr! Blarr! Blarr! Always having a dig at Hamilton, he's never achieved anything according to you lot. Whatever he's done is always down to the car and never what he's managed to do. Well, if we're all being honest any driver throughout F1 history that's won has always had the best car and that's no exception for Max, RBR have produced the best car and so he's won his 2 championships simply because of it and the same applies he could not have achieved anything without it.31-12-2023 23:34

I think anyone that's stupid enough to put Lewis down and out does so at their peril. He's still motivated, fit and has more than enough race craft to deal with the youngsters in the field and is raring to go for his 8th title. I think Lewis is aware that he is in the twilight of his career and probably has limited time to achieve his goal. Also with a capable car I believe he can do it, that's not to say that George is not a formidable foe who is looking to achieve his own records. He does have youth and time on his side but as we all know you need the tools to achieve at the heady heights of winning a championship.24-11-2022 20:08

We'll, let's see what happens when the RB falls apart again because as we all well know when the top car goes crap they inevitably drop down the pack. So the question is, is it the car or the driver? According to you experts Lewis is a bad driver so it had to be his car. We'll, on that basis Max is going to be the worst driver on the grid in the next couple of seasons. I think Lewis has moved on but it doesn't mean he has to forget being cheated out of the win. If he is asked about it he's going to give his response and just because Marko doesn't want to be reminded about how his driver was handed the win I think he should just accept it's always going to be part of his teams history and how it was handed to them unfairly.18-11-2022 11:11
