Ricciardo would have to be the favourite ahead of Hulkenberg and others. Dan was stronger than the Hulk at Renault.22-06-2023 09:57

Yeh, let’s just get on with the racing. RB have dodged a huge bullet, if they had pushed Horner out, he, his knowledge and leadership ability would have been snapped up by one of the other 8 teams. If you follow one of the other teams you are probably disappointed that he is staying, as he will keep making RB even more successful.28-02-2024 21:47

RB should be very careful in their decision making regarding "Hornergate", the guy has lead a team from the front and steered it into unbelievable success. If the "non Horner" faction get their way within RB and he goes, he will be snapped up by one of the other 8 teams in a flash, and steer them to similar success. So what they should do is kiss and make up and move on. Christian will be on his best behaviour going forward, and together push a great team to be a greater team.20-02-2024 23:13

When Dan moved back in with his RB family, it was pretty clear that if he could shake off the MCL blues and prove that he still has it, that he would get his seat back. So Silverstone proved it, and pulling AT off the bottom of the ladder proved it, and most importantly proved that he still has it. He deserves that 2nd RB seat and RB knows he will do it justice.04-02-2024 10:09

I doubt whether Dan will go to Merc, not because he would not do well, but I would say he would already have had assurances from Christian of taking Chico's seat this year or next, so being in the No1 car instead of No2 or 3 would be Dan's best option.02-02-2024 12:03

Here we go again, Toto saying he was robbed (sounds a bit like Trump and the "stolen" election) attacking Masi, who made the right call to just let the cars through who could get points, so they can get on with "the race" rather than finish with a safety car. Toto was basically beaten by a smarter team that brought Max in for fresh tyres at the right time, and if Lewis had done the same he probably would have got his 8th championship. From my recollection, the teams and drivers wanted safety car reforms at the beginning of that season, with more racing rather than sitting behind a safety car. When Toto got on the radio with his "no Micheal no" wingeing, when Max passed Lewis, Masi summed it up nicely with the words "it's called a car race Toto". Toto needs to build a bridge and get over it, and maybe get a better strategist on the pit wall.05-12-2023 19:39

I’m sure there have been many conversations between the 2 teams and they will use everything they possibly can to get past Williams this year, and set up well for 2024. I’m sure Dan’s experience and input has helped heaps as well to get where they are now, and don’t be surprised if AT (or Boss) end up 3 and 4 next year and close out the Mercs and MCLs. Now that would be nice but embarrassing.16-11-2023 06:52

Checo has a contract to race for Red Bull, but that does not mean it has to be with the A-Team, if it looks like the pack might start getting closer to RB the they will swap Checo with Dan, and it might just be from the first race.10-11-2023 12:06

The only chance you will have of seeing the changes to the RB floor would be if Checo is still in the second seat and he has another big prang, but I don’t think that will happen because Ricciardo will more than likely be in that seat to keep the chasing pack away from Max for 2024.10-11-2023 00:34

Norris is a good driver, but he is now a veteran of 4 years and STILL without a win, but his 2 Australian team mates have had wins, so there is something in his head that is not letting him get to that next level. Maybe Lando needs a mental coach like Checo has. Maybe he could borrow his.10-11-2023 00:28
