It’s a tradition. Every dominant leader in F1 gets blamed for supposedly being assisted by the FIA. Back in the day, when Schumi was the man, the fans said FIA stood for Ferrari International Assistance. When Louis was still in his prime, the same was said of him. Protected by the FIA because he was the poster boy. The fact that some fans now claim that Max is being aided by the FIA proves two things - F1 fanboys never change their tune - they’re sore losers - Max is now up there with Schumi and Hamilton in terms of dominance in a single season.
