No can do. FIA is actually owner of F1 name but leased it out for 100 years, and It got really complicated because of European Commission’s regulations. This was when the FIA sold all its rights to the FIA Formula One World Championship and how it led to the 100-year agreement. MBS wants to get his hands on the F1 money train and have more power. But yeah, F1 really doesn't need FIA (aside from the legal aspects of rights) maybe it's possible to separate but some lawyer wiz on Liberty's side would need to find some legal loophole and wrangling to get FIA off their back.15-11-2024 06:05

Well if you look at the numbers, As of now for Max; the threat of Lando taking the WDC win from Max is by far much less likely than three races ago. After his Dick Dastardly attitude, Max can now sit back more if he wants to, knowing that Lando has to beat Max by significant points in every race to the end. The numbers & risk were significantly different three races ago; so mission accomplished.31-10-2024 17:14

I think the last twotp three races of pushing Lando and himself off track was calculated. You're right, Max in Mex did not complain becasue it was a tactic to help him win the WDC. Still Horner and Max will use their voice to say they've done wrong.31-10-2024 16:56
