Zero chance that Horner will take responsibility for his actions.26-03-2025 19:10

I also stopped watching any pre/post interviews, it is just boring and the same thing week in and week out. If something interesting does pop up, I hope to catch it somewhere where it is highlighted (like on GPBlog). Also switched to F1TV for a few years now as I can't stand the Sky coverage. The other thing that really irks me is the insistence to have "celebrities" thrown at us that has in most cases no interest in F1, but see it as a media opportunity.12-08-2024 08:12

You guys expect that anyone with a specific skill should automatically also be comfortable with all this media responsibilities. I personally would not want to be involved in the media side of things if I were good enough to drive F1, but does that mean I should not display my skill because of something as stupid as media? What is F1 about? Racing or "shows"?17-11-2023 10:32

Yes, marketing is a responsibility of the drivers too. But the way it is done is the difference. If you have interviews and discuss technical aspects of racing, etc. Having these spectacles like this thing happening in Vegas should not involve the drivers. Let the concert go ahead and let the fans watch the concert. If they want to see the drivers, have an open press event inside one of the casinos where the fans can sit in the audience and listen live to discussions. The fans that want that style of entertainment is really just the new USA/D2S fans.17-11-2023 10:30

I am not a fan of Max specifically, but agree that they are making clowns of the drivers just for marketing17-11-2023 10:04

Just a friendly reminder that not everyone on this platform has English as a first language. As long as you get the point being made it should be good enough I would think.20-07-2023 07:00

You are playing dumb. He said, "walking the talk" even though you knew he is referring to "walking the walk". What value do you get in trying to belittle others?20-07-2023 16:53

Just to be clear, my comment was only around the fact that you are correcting his use of the English language. Nothing else.21-07-2023 07:49
