Did you read the full article or were too lazy and read only the title? ALO also said Lewis deserves all his titles and he must know something having driven the same car in Lewis' rookie season19-05-2022 19:09

Merc has never done that and in fact, when Nico left, instead of taking a rookie, they went to Williams to recruit a very promising driver. Their drivers are always treated equally unless one has a definitive advantage in the championship. It's not like Ferrari in Shumi days or Redbull since RIC left, else they would have signed ALO instead of PER16-05-2022 13:33

You know what, in professional level sports, motivation plays a huge part. Do you think Lewis will have any motivation of finishing 5th or 6th? Alonso even left F1 because he was not competing for a win, despite loving the sport. George on the other side is very young, has his career in front of him and is driving the best car he ever had. Just try to understand that part of high level sports psychology14-05-2022 06:31
