So far this season Verstappen had a better car 5 times, Norris 11 times (counting since Miami). And from that 5 times Max had the better car he has 1 DNF. RBR form right now is abysmal and it looks like it will be like that for a while, or the rest of the season, but who knows. And then we get to your comment. "It's Max's to lose." RB favoritism is not that much of a deal at all in this. Perez pitted first for inters. RB put Max 12th out of the pits with effectively 5 cars that already pitted in front of Max and 14 seconds behind Perez? If anyone still call RB favoritsm its on them.27-08-2023 21:22

I see people saying that Newey said the RB was better, while he actually said "probably on balance" RB was better. And its not true. Pretty sure Horner and Toto will agree. And btw how can you even tell without having driven both cars, how can Newey know how the Merc drives? What he does know is, is that he wants his creation to be recognized.
