Interesting how these comments seems to suggest the Mercedes and perhaps the Alpines are incapable of bringing upgrades to join the championship battle. It isnt just specific to Redbull/Max. For all we know, Checo may just surprise everyone this season13-04-2022 15:31

While I agree that there's still a lot to play for, I do however disagree with your point that Max has been faster in 2 of the 3 races. I think Checo has been faster in 2 of the 3 races. In Australia, 2 things happened to suggest Checo may have been faster. 1) Checo was fueled for more laps in qualifying which could have giving him an extra tenths to qualify ahead of Max and 2) Marko quoted that Checo matched Max all through the race. So Checo was faster in both Saudi Arabia and Australia13-04-2022 15:28

Oh oh, be careful Watty83, you may have hit the wrong nerve. With Max, its always the talent and everyone else, its the car. Last year, Max's fans were quick to point out that the Merc was the fastest because it was the fastest car on the straight while the Redbull was the fastest in the corners. Then the Mercedes car was the fastest, now all that logic is out of the window13-04-2022 01:17

Another display of ignorance and lack of F1 knowledge. Do you read at all? Mercedes have a fast car from all results from the wind tunnel testing. The issue is they are unable to replicate the porpoising issue in the wind tunnel. If they are able to solve the issue with the bouncing, they should be competitive again. Kindly explain how the spicy engine became illegal and also the rear wing13-04-2022 01:26

Always quick to spew out garbage without bases or intelligence. Do you have any proof for these comments? First, the new regulations and car changes have been available for over 3 years and most of the manufacturers had started work on the development way before 2021. Both teams had stopped development on 2021 by Silverstone. On the spicy engine, you should read more before commenting. All they did was reserve engines and use them for few races for maximum output. All the teams have these capabilities. Its more a compromise between how many races you are willing to use your engine for. at fill revs. Finally, the season is still long and one DNF by Charles brings levels up the leaderboard. Also, with Mercedes fixing the bouncing issue, there's so much to play for both Redbulls and Mercedes. And Max already has a fast car just not reliable.11-04-2022 17:28

Your analysis somehow forgot Lewis won both GP3 and GP2 in his rookie years also. GP2 is now called F211-04-2022 14:08

The Mercedes car is easier to fix as the fundamentals of the car suggests its a fast car from data gathered in the wind tunnel. Once they fix the bouncing issue with the new floor which should be ready by the next race, that should fix 99% of the issues and they can then run the engine on full power with lower ride heights to create more drag on the straights. At the moment, the Mercedes is not a slow car, they just have to compromise on power/speed to reduce the bouncing effect11-04-2022 14:22

Nah! Give respect to Adrian Newey. Your comments lost every credibility with the jibe on Adrian. I am not a Redbull/Max fan but I would always recognise and appreciate pure talent and class10-04-2022 17:45
