He’s been underwhelming and undeniably been on the receiving end of several strategic errors, but I can’t see anyone else being a bigger upgrade in that seat. The benefit of putting a great qualifier like bottas alongside max would be short-lived if he’s often gonna be far off in races just as he is with lewis, Gasly I’m still unsure. Excluding max, he hasn’t had a decent benchmark teammate against whom we can see his true raw pace and a junior is a no-go so yeah.. tricky case that RB 2nd seat..05-10-2021 07:29

while red bull have been more at fault for messing up most of perez’s qualis than perez himself is since the summer break, there’s only so much he can do in the races. He was doing OK, austria 2 and silverstone excluded, up until that point so something just hasn’t been clicking.01-10-2021 16:24
