I can see their point and it seems RB also agree but for different reasons with statements made this week about reevaluating their commitment. Both teams have good reason to be sour at the stewarding this year, both should put on a protest of some sort. While name calling in itself is childish, standing up for your team and how you want to see the sport going forward is hardly childish. If TB would do the same it would have an even better effect.15-12-2021 13:14

By your own stated definition of GOAT, Schumacher would also not be classified as such, or anyone else for that matter.09-12-2021 16:52

Both of these guys need to treat each other with the respect they have said they have for each other as racing drivers. If they do that minimum action it will be a much better finale than what some pundits are trying to fabricate.07-12-2021 16:47

Perez has done the same for Max in a recent race but under the VSC. I believe it was Brazil. Rules for thee but not for me again from RB.06-12-2021 20:54

This ^^. The FIA are not perfect by no means and I for one would love there to be a full time stewarding panel but the accusations this year have been off the chart. When Ferrari were winning it was the Ferrari Insurance Association, now they are somehow in it for Mercedes even though the the last few heads of the FIA were from Ferrari :eyeroll: I'm just hoping the mobocracy doesn't start influencing the FIAs actions like it does in politics throughout much of the world.06-12-2021 22:20

@EauRouge74 So you are basically admitting that VER cannot win the title without intervention from the FIA to LIMIT the number of originally scheduled races? Why don't we let them race and settle it on track. I don't have a preference on which wins but whoever does it should be on merit.05-12-2021 17:18

Can you please just settle this on track. It is a racing series and not debate club.04-12-2021 19:30

According to decision by the stewards the yellow was activated in error and was never shown to the driver. I don't see how you can fault a driver if he hasn't had the opportunity to respond (the error occurred for less than one second!). So a no penalty call is the only solution here.04-12-2021 18:14

Why is it a joke? How is any driver to respond to something that is never passed on to him. If the light a light or flag was shown that would be a different story but the activation occurred (in error) for such a brief time that a flag or light was never activated.04-12-2021 18:16
