The Bahrain Grand Prix will be held this weekend on Bahrain's usual layout, but next week it will race on the Outerloop. F1 have now revealed the first pictures of this unique circuit.

The F1 season of 2020 has been slightly different from other years due to the coronavirus. We have raced in places we would normally never go and we have also raced on circuits twice. This happened earlier on the Red Bull Ring and at Silverstone, but now we are also racing twice in Sakhir.

However, the Bahrain International Circuit will not run the same race twice. This weekend the drivers will drive the layout that has been used for years and where Lewis Hamilton emerged as winner in 2019. However, the second race will be held on the  outer loop. A fast lap, with very few corners.

On the website of Formula1.com the first official images of this lap on the outer loop have now been published. These images show that it will mainly be about traction and power. Whoever can do that best could put the competition in Bahrain a lap down just like that. However, there is a danger that DRS trains will emerge everywhere.
