Yuki Tsunoda has been fined for speeding in the pit lane. AlphaTauri will receive a fine of €300. Tsunoda was not pleased with the speed of his colleagues during the third free practice.
A rant about the on-board radio
That Tsunoda doesn't mince words already became clear during the first weekend in Bahrein. During the third free practice for the GP of Imola the F-word can be heard several times, this time because the drivers in front of him do not drive on.
According to Tsunoda, it is a big traffic jam that prevents him from setting a fast lap. When he arrives in the pit lane he drives too fast. The AlphaTauri driver drove at a speed of 82.4 kilometres per hour, while the speed limit in the pits is 80 kilometres per hour. His team will be fined €300, for this.
Yuki Tsunoda may have been in 'traffic paradise' during that session, but he didn't obey all the rules of the road. Speeding in the pitlane, 82.4km/h, fined 300 euro. #F1 #ImolaGP
