This would have made those inside the Mercedes garage sweat for sure! Valtteri Bottas went for a spin in FP3 this morning and got rather close to the barriers! Luckily, the car had slowed and landed perfectly side on as he slid into the barriers. A different angle or any quicker and engineers may have faced a race against time to sort out the car for qualifying.
