Pierre Gasly heeft zijn contract verlengd bij Alpine en rijdt ook in 2025 dus voor de Franse constructeur, zo heeft het team op donderdagochtend uit de doeken gedaan. Internetgebruikers zien het mogelijke duo Gasly-Sainz niet echt werken. Eerder kwam namelijk het gerucht dat Sainz weleens de teamgenoot van de Fransman zou kunnen worden bij Alpine in 2025.
