De Grand Prix van China kreeg na afloop van de race nog een staartje. De FIA ontdekte namelijk dat maar liefst drie wagens niet voldeden aan het technisch reglement. Als gevolg hiervan zijn Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc en Pierre Gasly gediskwalificeerd. Het internet reageert vol verbazing op het tafereel in China.
