The weekend hasn't started too well for
Valtteri Bottas. The Finn made a nasty spin in the pitlane, and has received a three place grid penalty for it.
Bad start for Bottas
The stewards were clearly not happy with Bottas' spin and have decided to give the Finn a three-place grid penalty for the
Austrian Grand Prix. They call it 'dangerous driving in the pitlane'.
According to the stewards Bottas wanted to leave the pits in second gear instead of first which resulted in the spin. The stewards say Bottas had no control over his car in the so-called fast lane.
Also points on licence
Bottas' dangerous action does not only earn him a three-place grid penalty. He also receives two penalty points on his super license.
