The new Netflix series of Drive to Survive will be released on March 11. Formula 1 fans will then be able to enjoy the fascinating season that took place in 2021 once again. However, Max Verstappen refused to participate. Does that mean the season is still interesting for Verstappen fans?

Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton made it a wonderful season last calendar year. Both drivers fought for the world title from the first race in Bahrain to the last race in Abu Dhabi. That battle Verstappen decided only on the last lap, finally giving Formula 1 fans the season they were hoping for in advance.

Red Bull look will be present

As a result, the season looks set to be very interesting. Those who fear that Verstappen will not be heard in the series are wrong. The Dutchman did not want to talk to the makers, but interviews with other media will be included in the episodes. Verstappen therefore has an extensive say.

Where Red Bull Racing accepted Verstappen's point of view, the racing team was also willing to cooperate with the episodes. Team boss Christian Horner is said to be frequently heard during the season and in conversation with the makers, the Briton shines his light on the performance of Verstappen and Hamilton.

Mercedes in the picture

Those who find that not enough can also enjoy the perspective of Verstappen's competition. Verstappen's performance received a lot of compliments from the world of Formula 1, but people at Mercedes were not impressed by the performances of the Dutch driver. The episodes will therefore offer an interesting glimpse into that. Moreover, at Haas, Ferrari and McLaren, among others, plenty happened as well.

Not only the reactions of the drivers and team bosses are expected to be delicious, also the images of the qualifying sessions and races will provide the necessary excitement in the episodes. From the images it will once again be clear that Hamilton and Verstappen have given everything to come out on top in 2021.
