Red Bull Racing's British top designer, Adrian Newey turned 65 today. From GPBlog, congratulations and we hope he continues to work in Formula 1 for many years to come.

Newey has quite a career behind him and he does not seem to be planning to quit just yet. Indeed, he is not ruling out a switch from Red Bull's team to another.

Successes

Besides Formula 1, Newey has also worked in NASCAR as a race engineer, aerodynamicist, designer and technical director. He has achieved great success in both categories. The Briton has managed to win no less than 12 constructors' championships in Formula 1. He has won more constructors' championships than any other designer, and that with three different Formula 1 teams. He has won titles with McLaren, Williams and Red Bull, of course. Combined with the drivers' championship, Newey has won a whopping 25 titles.
