Lewis Hamilton did not move beyond 11th place in qualifying for the Las Vegas GP, thanks to Carlos Sainz's penalty the Briton can still start from 10th on the grid.

The seven-time world champion was anything but satisfied after qualifying. Speaking to Viaplay, Hamilton could say little positive: "This car is not that great, but the track is fun." The Mercedes driver acknowledged that the car is just not good enough: "We don't have the pace to compete at the front, but I mean George [Russell] is in Q3 so I just struggled with grip."

Expectations for the rest of the weekend

On tomorrow's race, today in Las Vegas, Hamilton remained brief. Asked what his expectations are for the race, Lewis responded with a short sentence: "I don't have any."
