Max Verstappen was leading the virtual 24 hours of Le Mans for a long time, but a crash forced the Formula One world champion to watch his adventure end prematurely. For his team Redline, the loss was also a disappointment, although the team could ultimately rejoice.

Winner

The Redline team eventually won the virtual race with the number 70 car, driven by Jeffrey Rietveld. Oliver Rowland, Felipe Drugovich and Michal Smidl. With this victory the team also took the LMP2 championship in the virtual Le Mans series.

In the race, Rebellion Racing finished second, ahead of Williams Esport. Rietveld started the race from pole position, having beaten Verstappen by just 0.02 seconds.

Besides the LMP2 championship, Team Redline also triumphed in the GT class. There BMW Team Redline with Rudy van Buren and others took the victory and with that the championship in the class.
