Mattia Binotto was not present at the Turkish Grand Prix this weekend and suddenly there was a podium for Sebastian Vettel. The German laughs at the fact his best result came without the team boss,
In order to make sure it all goes according to plan at the factory, Binotto chose to stay in Maranello last weekend during the Turkish Grand Prix. Vettel suggested he should do it again, as the team immediately managed to score third and fourth place in Turkey, their best result as a team this whole season.

Vettel laughs at Binotto

''I think we have scored more points than in any race this year and Mattia is not here. If we score less points next race, we should think about leaving Mattia at home all the time," Vettel tells Auto Bild after the Grand Prix at Istanbul Park. Binotto himself can laugh about it.
''I'm especially happy for Sebastian that he finished in the top three. He drove a strong race and especially his start was fantastic. Charles Leclerc was also very fast in large parts of the race and without his slide at the start he could have just finished second," says Ferrari's Italian team boss.

Definitely coincidence, strange grand Prix , many factors helped Seb, I do hope Aston gives him the confidence and car too fight for podium's again , his fights with Lewis made for better races, Ferrari gave up on him too fast

Is it just a coincidence or jinks or has he actually got a hand in curtailing Seb’s car performance when he is around? Hmmm. I hear conspiracy theories coming up. :)

Good thing you're already fired Seb... otherwise he wouldn't be sheepishly laughing abt it!! Binotto must really consider staying out... is it many truths said in a jest...
