After a rainy qualifying session for the Canadian Grand Prix, the race itself may remain dry for its entirety. However, there is still a slight chance of rain, and it is still not very warm in Montreal.

Montreal weather forecast

Qualifying for the Canadian GP was very interesting on Saturday. The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve was very wet at the beginning of the session, and then dried up as the session continued. But new rainfall then made the track wetter again, making them ideal conditions for a fun qualifying session. However, it did not produce a surprising winner, as Max Verstappen will 'just' start Sunday's race from pole.

The race itself looks set to be a lot more predictable when it comes to weather conditions. Weather.com reports that the chance of rain throughout the day is around 15 per cent. However, it will remain grey over the circuit as it will again be mostly cloudy throughout the day. The temperature rises to a maximum of 20 degrees, although it looks set to stay around 19 degrees during the race.

The Canadian Grand Prix will start at 20:00 Dutch time. GPblog will publish a liveblog one hour before the start of the race, so you don't have to miss anything of all the action on and off the track. After the race, you will also find here the summary, reactions of the drivers and extensive analysis of the race.
