Juri Vips won the Feature Race in Baku. The
Red Bull Racing junior started from the front row of the grid and pulled away immediately at the start. He fell back in the pit-stop phase, but came back strongly and managed to keep F3-champion Oscar Piastri behind him.
Upfront there was also plenty happening in the first lap. In the first corner Dan Ticktum, Theo Pourchaire and Marcus Armstrong all hit each other, with the former receiving a penalty for the incident. Fighting for tenth place and a single point, Verschoor drove towards Viscaal in the first corner. Viscaal braked earlier than expected, however, and Verschoor slammed on the brakes.
No chaotic race like Saturday
Despite the chaotic Saturday, with two sprint races full of safety cars and yellow flags, it was nice and quiet on the track. Apart from a safety car after the opening lap and some yellow flags because of drivers who had overshot, it stayed clean, without too many problems. The next race in F2 will be at Silverstone, in just over a month.
