Local hero Maximilian Günther recorded the fastest time in the second free practice session of the Formula E weekend in Berlin. Nick Cassidy closed in on P2 and Jean-Eric Vergne completed the top three.
Whereas Stoffel Vandoorne was the fastest man on Friday, the Belgian DS Penske driver had to settle for a fifth time on Saturday morning. He saw Antonio Felix da Costa finish ahead of him in the second and final free practice prior to Saturday qualifying.
Championship leader and former Formula 1 driver Pascal Wehrlein came no further than 15th in the second practice session, just behind Jake Dennis, the current number two in the championship.
