"I've never seen so many cars immediately on track. It's wall to wall
Formula 1 cars," said Brundle in a conversation with Sky Sports. The first half-hour of FP2 was all about driving fast laps. During the second half of the session, the teams focused on the long runs, as always in the second free practice.
In both the short and long runs, there was one man who stood out in particular.
"Max Verstappen is so at one with the Red Bull - it stands out a mile to me. He was centimetre perfect through the apex carrying the speed. And so was Lando Norris.," said Brundle, who also found Norris in the
McLaren impressive.
