The filming of the film that includes Brad Pitt is in full swing. At Silverstone, Pitt did several laps of the circuit and there were also recordings for the film in Budapest, although these did not take place on the track. It has now been revealed that there will be no filming on the weekend of the Dutch Grand Prix, De Telegraaf announced on Monday morning.
There has been a lot of talk about the film with Lewis Hamilton collaborating on the script. Over the weekend of the British Grand Prix, we saw the first details of the film. These included the announcement that Pitt will play the role of Formula 1 driver Sonny Hayes, and that his team will be called APX GP. The name of the film is still unknown.
Weeks ago, reports emerged that filming for the film was also likely to take place at Zandvoort. Now there is definitely a line through that idea. Dutch fans will not get the chance to see the famous actor in the flesh during the Grand Prix weekend.
