The final free practice of the weekend is about to get underway in Singapore. Drivers have one more session to setup their cars ahead of qualifying, and after some heavy rain on Friday evening in the Asian country, teams will also have to re-grip the track. Both Red Bull and Mercedes will hope to catch up to their rivals, and they have 60 minutes to find out if their overnight solutions work on track.
On Friday in Singapore, Charles Leclerc could top FP1, while Lando Norris was the quickest in FP2, and Carlos Sainz also finished in P3 in both sessions. On the other hand, in terms of one lap pace, Red Bull and Mercedes did struggle. In FP2, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton finished in P7 and P11 respectively, while Perez and Verstappen only finished in P8 and P15 as well. In terms of his long run however, the Dutchman did show some promise on the hard tyres. Either way, both teams will have to alter their setups ahead of qualifying to challenge the McLarens and Ferraris for pole position based on the FP2 results.
At the moment, Max Verstappen still leads Lando Norris in the drivers' standings. Norris' gap behind the Dutchman currently stands at 59 points. On the other hand, after the Azerbaijan GP, McLaren could overtake Red Bull Racing in the constructors' standings, as the British team now lead their rivals by 20 points.

Monster lap from Norris. For Max to be virtually 0.9s off and still be 4th is quite lucky. I'd have expected more cars between top time and 0.9s. Let's see how quali goes.
Brilliant session, Piastri is struggling a bit , now we can see the difference between Norris and Piastri. The experience of racing here is huge .
They shouldn't let Marko walk across the track. :) It's joke folks. Smile today.
And apparently the lizard saw a car coming, dropped the F-bomb and has since been put to sleep. It will later be eaten by the FIA top echelons in the dinner following the qualifying.
I saw the lizard with a nosering as well. Wonder if the FIA will take it out before they him.
A lizard fighting against racial prejudice and discrimination? How do you imagine that?
They can change colours to match the flag and change genders, so there's no better representative.?
