F1 LIVE | FP2: Singapore Grand Prix

Max Verstappen managed to win both the Dutch Grand Prix at his home Zandvoort and the Italian Grand Prix at Monza after the summer break. This is all part of a record run. The Dutchman managed to win 10 races in a row and is now looking to extend his own record after beating Sebastian Vettel's best total last time out.

The question is also whether Ferrari can keep up with Red Bull Racing this weekend. At Monza, they succeeded when Carlos Sainz finished third and Charles Leclerc fourth. Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell finished fifth and sixth at the Italian Grand Prix. Aston Martin are expected to be strong this weekend in Singapore.

Marina Bay track changes

This track is well known for requiring maximum downforce setups as well as a very good mechanical balance because of the bumpy nature of the asphalt (being a street circuit, in fact, most of the track is used every day as a normal street) and the extreme hot temperatures, which are killer for the tyres. However, this year the teams will have to tackle two main changes: a new final sector (which now has a 400-meter straight instead of a couple of twisty chicanes) and a new technical directive, the TD018, which could affect the battle for the P2 in the championship.
