British Grand Prix weekend gets underway with the first free practice session at
Silverstone. With the GPblog liveblog, you won't miss any of the on-track action.

Max Verstappen indicated on Thursday during press briefings on the
F1 paddock that he is hoping for a dry weekend so he can race hard.
Red Bull Racing's RB19 could do well at
Silverstone, as the car is better on permanent tracks than on street circuits.
Verstappen and Red Bull have been dominant all year, so
Silverstone is likely to be enjoyable for
Verstappen fans.
Verstappen isn't get bored of the situation, so the team will continue to push hard. Though the likes of Mercedes, Aston Martin and
Ferrari will be doing everything they can to stop Red Bull's streak of wins.
British GP record-breaker for Red Bull and Verstappen?
On Friday, the Dutchman will also set the stage for possibly breaking his own record. On winning the British GP,
Verstappen will have six wins in a row, breaking his own record and that of British hometown hero
Lewis Hamilton. That win would take
Red Bull Racing to a run of 11 races, equalling
McLaren's record of 11 from 1988. If
Lewis Hamilton wins the race, then he will become the first driver to win nine times at one circuit.
