Alonso once tried MotoGP: "It was very scary"

Fernando Alonso has spoken out about his MotoGP experience. The Alpine F1 Team driver once tried a Honda MotoGP machine at Motegi and has called it a terrifying experience.
Scary moment for Alonso
Alonso is not only fast on four wheels, as the Spaniard likes to grab one of his motorcycles to hit the road. During a 'Honda Thanks Day' at Motegi he went one step further - the two-time world champion tested on the Honda bike of six-time MotoGP champion Marc Marquez.
Alonso was impressed by the power of the bikes from MotoGP and says he immediately wanted to prove himself on the bike. "It's incredible what this bike can do. I didn't have my elbow down, just my knee, although I really only wanted to do that to scratch the leather - so I could prove I was down. But it was very scary," he said at SpeedWeek.com.
F1 drivers with a love for engines
Alonso is not the only Formula 1 driver with a love for all engines. Kimi Raikkonen, Sebastian Vettel, Mick Schumacher and even Lance Stroll swap four wheels for two when they have the time. Lewis Hamilton swapped his Mercedes F1 car with the bike of MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi a few years ago.
