Formula 4 champion leaves Van Amersfoort Racing for Prema

Champion Oliver Bearman has signed a contract with Prema Racing in Formula 3 and will leave Van Amersfoort Racing.
Bearman drove in the Italian Formula 4 and ADAC Formula 4 and has now been promoted to Formula 3 after a great season in which he became champion twice. In fact, the 16-year-old driver was the first driver to win the German and Italian Formula 4 championships in the same season, and all in his second year in motorsport.
The Formula 4 champion is therefore eager to start the new season: “I'm really looking forward to stepping-up to FIA F3 with PREMA, as my first official year being part of the Ferrari Driver Academy," he said in the official press release from Prema.
Top results
Many drivers will dream of the results the Brit has achieved in just one year. In 2021 he won 17 races and had 13 poles. He has more than earned his place in the Ferrari Driver Academy and the Formula 3 seat.
