The stands in Imola will be packed with Ferrari fans, as the Scuderia comes to its home country for the first time in years as championship leader. Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Liberty Media and resident of Imola, says he is proud of the passion his country has for Formula One.

He expresses that same pride in the fact that Italy now has two Grands Prix on the calendar. "As a resident of Imola, I am extremely proud to see so much passion around such an important event for our country," says the Formula One boss according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Party in Imola

He, therefore, believes that all the ingredients are in place to make Imola an extraordinary weekend. It was recently announced that the race in Imola will remain on the calendar until 2025, which makes the party complete for the organization.

The same goes, of course, for the fans, who will be present in large numbers again this year to cheer on Ferrari. More than 100,000 tickets have already been sold and the Grand Prix weekend is expected to sell out, helped by the recent success of the Italian racing team.
