Verstappen struggles with new regulations: 'It doesn't work out as well for me'.

It soon became clear that Max Verstappen was not satisfied with his P3 in qualifying for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, but there seems to be more to it than that. The balance of the car was once again not good, something that is starting to become a bigger problem.
Verstappen is having a tough time on the street circuits so far. Due to the new regulations, the cars have changed a lot, making it more difficult to turn in with the RB18. The Dutchman, therefore, does not feel good in his car.
"We have to make a step, so that I will feel better in the car. Because at the moment that's not the case," Verstappen is quoted by The Telegraph. Adjustments can be made in terms of tuning, but the car is now built so differently that it has become more difficult to find a solution.
'For me, it works out less'
Teammate Sergio Perez seems to be able to handle the new RB18 better because in Monaco the Mexican managed to take the victory. In Baku, again a street circuit, Perez has been faster than Verstappen all weekend. Especially on the narrow circuits, the Dutchman needs a car that turns fast, but that is not the case now.
"At the moment I can't find the balance between front and rear. The new cars are built with a different philosophy than the past seasons. For me that works out less, yes," said the Dutchman.
