Horner keeps problems with Perez's car in the middle

Red Bull Racing experienced a very successful weekend in Canada with Max Verstappen. The Dutchman managed to take the win and thus increase his lead in the world championship. It was a different story with Sergio Perez, as Christian Horner also saw.
Verstappen made a strong impression throughout the weekend. Where he was often not strong in the free practices and qualifying this season, he immediately managed to win the first two practices. In qualifying he was even more than six tenths faster than Fernando Alonso who finished second.
It therefore gave confidence for the race. Although Verstappen got away well at the start, it cost him the necessary strength to keep Carlos Sainz behind him. Horner thought it was handsome how Verstappen performed. "Amazing. Under such pressure, especially at the end of the race," he told Viaplay.
Horner is curious about the problems for Perez
For Perez, the race ended on a different note. The Mexican was forced to retire the car due to problems with his car, leaving Montreal scoreless. The team boss finds it difficult to say where the problem lay. "I don't know. When we get the car back we'll have to investigate."
