FIA listens to drivers and unveils new press conference schedule
- GPblog.com
The FIA has announced the press conference schedule ahead of the British Grand Prix. The drivers had recently complained about the busy schedule on Fridays, as the press conference had been on Friday morning every race since this season. Now the FIA has moved them back to the traditional Thursday and not everyone will be heard in the press conference.
Only ten of the twenty drivers will be in the traditional press conference, while the other ten will be in the square to answer questions from the press. Thus the whole programme takes a lot less time than before. In the press conference there will be one driver from each team and in the square one driver from each team will appear.
Drivers split in the schedule
For Red Bull Racing, Sergio Perez will be in the press conference and Max Verstappen will be in the square for the press shortly afterwards. For Ferrari, Charles Leclerc will be in the second part of the press conference and Carlos Sainz will be in the square to answer questions from the press.
