More bad luck for Ferrari: Transport lorry catches fire on way to Monza
- GPblog.com
Ferrari has not even arrived at Monza, or the problems begin again for the Italian racing team. On the way from Zandvoort a transport truck of the team is stranded due to overheated brakes. The engines of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will therefore arrive at the circuit a little later than planned.
Ferrari in trouble en route to Monza
Ferrari hopes to restore some lost pride at Monza, but the week has not started so well for the Italians. On the way from Zandvoort to Monza, the transport vehicle containing the engines ran into trouble due to overheated brakes, causing the vehicle to catch fire. The fire brigade had to be called in to extinguish the burning brakes, but the damage does not seem too serious.
For the team, it is to be hoped that the bad luck will remain limited to this incident. At the Italian Grand Prix, the Monza circuit will be packed with tifosi, hoping that their beloved team can finally put an end to its series of disappointing results and mistakes.
