New sponsor, new livery: this is how Haas F1 has changed over the years
- GPblog.com
On Tuesday, Haas became the first Formula 1 team to unveil its livery for the 2023 season. The team has opted for a predominantly black design, moving away from the white livery of 2022. Over the years, the team's colours have changed several times: GPblog lists them all.
Haas through the years
Haas made its entry into F1 in 2016 and did so with a silver-coloured VF-16, with black and red accents. The following year, the team opted for a darker grey, switching to a livery very similar to that of 2022 in 2018.
In 2019, the US racing stable appeared at the start of the F1 season with a predominantly black VF-19. The gold accents were almost reminiscent of Lotus' heyday, but disappeared again when the team broke with then sponsor Rich Energy. In 2020, the team went for a predominantly white bolide.
In 2021, the car adopted the colours of then main sponsor Uralkali (and thus those of the Russian flag): white, blue and red. After breaking with that brand last year, Haas has decided to move away from those colours for 2023 and return to a black bolide, this time with white and red accents.
