For Carlos Sainz, it was confusing for why he was punished so quickly by race control. The Spaniard finished outside the top 10 due to his five-second penalty. The Spaniard himself is angry.
Sainz drove a strong Grand Prix, until the last restart. In doing so, he hit Fernando Alonso, who then spun and lost a lot of ground. It did not hurt Alonso, because due to the chaos at the restart, the pre-start order was kept as the result. Nevertheless, Sainz did receive a five-second penalty and fell outside the points.
Sainz is out of sorts
Sainz himself wants to say very few words about it but actually says enough he told Sky Sports: '"I prefer not to talk right now. I'm too disappointed and I'll say bad things. It's the most unfair penalty I've seen in my life. I cannot do it,"
