Formula One is finally back this weekend after the summer break and Pirelli have offered the medium, soft and supersoft tyre compounds to the teams for the Belgian Grand Prix.
Whilst the circuit isn't the most power sensitive on the calendar, the long straights at the start and end of the lap are broken up by long sweeping curves which punish the tyres lap after lap.
Mercedes has opted to take the most conservative strategy of the big teams, three sets of medium tyres for both Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas with four soft sets and six supersoft sets for them both also.
Ferrari run one step more aggressive than their title rivals, with Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen split on medium and soft sets, the former bringing one more medium and one less soft than his teammate.
Red Bull again with not much to lose are running the most aggressive strategy based on tyre selection alone, Daniel Ricciardo bringing eight sets of supersofts with just one sole set of medium tyres.
Ricciardo's supersoft selection is bettered only by Williams, with both Sergey Sirotkin and Lance Stroll bringing nine sets of the softest compound tyre available to the teams.
