The drivers that drove for three teams in one season!

It's not uncommon for drivers to switch teams during a season, but to do that twice seems a bit much - yet there have been some (legendary) drivers who have done exactly that!
A switch can happen for various reasons. A team could axe a driver they're not happy with, and replace him with another driver on the grid who strikes their fancy. The most recent example of that is Carlos Sainz at Renault, who replaced the slumping Jolyon Palmer, and the same happened for Max Verstappen in 2016, who switched seats with Daniil Kvyat mid-season.
However, there have been 18 drivers who have raced for three different teams in the same season. Though it hasn't happened since 1994 (Johnny Herbert drove for Lotus, Liger and Benetton), Maurice Trintignant even did it twice in his career!
Jacky Ickx is the most famous case. The Belgian racing legend started the 1973 season at Ferrari, but was very unhappy with the way the car was performing. McLaren offered him a third team car on the Nüburgring, where he finished third for the team, better than any of the Ferrari's. After finishing in P8 at Monza, Ickx again decided he wanted to leave the team, switching to Williams this time, where he stayed for a longer period of time.
