Formula 1 announces 2024 season calendar

Formula 1 has announced the racing calendar for the 2024 season. In total, the revamped race calendar features 24 races. Earlier, several drivers complained about the number of races within one F1 season.
The calendar as we know it from the current season seems to have remained largely intact. New next season: two races will take place on Saturday. These are the Bahrain Grand Prix and the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix. These races will be held on Saturday because of Ramadan.
Changes for the 2024 Formula 1 season
The Dutch Grand Prix will take place one week after the summer break. After some rumours that the Belgian Grand Prix would no longer be on the calendar, it can still be noted in the diary by Formula 1 fans. There is also a place for the Chinese GP next season, which will return to the calendar.
The Japanese Grand Prix will be held earlier next season than this year. On the weekend of 7 April, F1 will visit the track. This is while the street race in Baku will be moved. The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place after the summer break.
Domenicali on Formula 1 season 2024
Next season there will be three triple headers on the Formula 1 calendar. Through changes made to the new Formula 1 calendar, F1 wants to achieve a better flow of races in certain regions.
Formula 1 boss Stefano Domenicali explains, "We want to make Formula 1's global spectacle more efficient in terms of our environmental sustainability," he says in the press release announcing the new calendar.
