The Ferrari market is not very active at the moment. Drivers Alexander Albon and Lando Norris are said to be on the Italian racing stable's list, but this seems to be off the table for now. According to Motorsport.com, the Scuderia wants to move forward with drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. First talks with these drivers would follow after the Italian Grand Prix in Monza.

Therefore, Norris would not be part of Ferrari's plans, as there seems to be a view in Maranello that they want to extend the partnership with the existing duo. There was a rumour recently that Red Bull, in addition to interest in Norris, was also keeping an eye on Leclerc.

Albon and Norris not going to Ferrari?

A deal between Thai-British driver Albon does not seem to be on the cards either. The Williams driver might not have responded to Red Bull Racing's call as he would have hoped for a door to swing open in Maranello for him.

McLaren driver Norris impressed with a second-place finish in the British Grand Prix. The British talent is said to be in the interest of both Red Bull Racing and Ferrari. Norris' contract still runs until 2025, so whether he will leave remains to be seen.
